About this site

Wellbeing, without the hype.

Mind Body Zen is a modern wellbeing publication. We take the calm, practical heart of yoga and Zen — refined across centuries of collective practice — and make it genuinely useful for life now: for burnout, the nervous system, rest, and the ordinary work of feeling like yourself again.

We're not interested in gurus, quick fixes, or serene stock photos. We write honestly, from where two things meet: a living contemplative tradition, and the evidence for what actually helps. Where they agree, that's usually worth your attention. Where they don't, we'll say so.

This isn't one person's story. It's a shared, living tradition — reinterpreted, in plain language, for the way we live now.

What you'll find here

Clear, evidence-informed writing on burnout and high-functioning stress, how the nervous system really works, and small, doable practices for rest, presence, and living well — alongside the ideas from yoga and Zen that quietly hold it together.

If that's your kind of thing, subscribe below — new pieces land in your inbox, no algorithm required.

Founder

Mind Body Zen was founded by Bryan Goh — a yoga practitioner of over twenty years and a certified teacher (RYT-200, Hatha and Vinyasa) with a background in Zen. His experience is the credibility behind the publication; what you read here draws on the whole living tradition, not one person’s story.
